Though originally from South America, it has spread to Southeast Asia, where it’s considered an invasive species. By repurposing this abundant plant, we help prevent environmental damage while transforming it into something both practical and beautiful. After harvesting, the stems are carefully dried in the sun for up to seven days before being woven by hand into strong, durable baskets.
